Exciting news! A few old favorites have returned to stock and there are two new items that are positively stunning! Have you seen the Tiny House series? They were released in Japan as a test and were in very limited quantities. I'm delighted to share with you that we've obtained a small supply of the Tiny House Donut Shop and the Tiny House Flower Shop. They are amazing little miniature shops and I know you'll love them.
Old favorites that are back in stock in very limited quantities are the White Chest and Lamp, I Love Kyoto, Gyu Gyu Pets, the Refrigerator, and Hotel Buffet. Happy shopping!

Exciting news! Two new sets have arrived, plus there's an announcement on the next Re-Ment Fan Club meeting!
Both the traditional Hinamatsuri set and the Hello Kitty Hinamatsuri set have arrived and they are wonderful! Unlike last year's Hinamatsuri set, these come as complete sets in one box. They are each under $20, making them a very affordable way to celebrate Girls Day!

Happy New Year! Thanks to everyone for their wonderful holiday orders and their terrific patience as I celebrated the holidays with my family and friends. I hope you had a wonderful season and start the new year refreshed and excited about the possibilities!
There are two new sets on the Shop Here! page -- Cute Cats Mascots and Realistic Insect Magnets. Cute Cats comes in mascot form, with a little loop and short chain for hanging from your purse or backpack. I played around with them a little and discovered that the little loop is screwed in and can be removed quite easily in case you prefer your miniatures without chains. Realistic Insect Magnets are very realistic - if you want to scare somebody, put one on your refrigerator!
This month's specials are really fun! We've extended last month's special on Office Lady/Girls in the City, plus we've added a special on the long out-of-stock Bakery Case. As before, you can purchase one or both of these specials if you order $100 of other Re-Ment.

Are you having a great summer? I hope you are enjoying some time off and getting to play with your Re-Ment! It's been a little slow in the world of Re-Ment, at least if you like little food and household accessories. The new sets being issued by Japan have been going in a different direction, like magnetic bugs. While they are wonderful bugs, I don't think my dolls would appreciate an insect invasion!
There are two new things coming in November to add to your Hello Kitty collection - a bakery set and a bakery case! Be sure to check out the Coming Soon! page for details. Another piece of news on the Coming Soon! page that isn't quite so happy - the Toy Story Happy Birthday set is turning out to be very difficult to get. My usual supplier is not getting it and I'm searching for an alternate. I'm sorry that I can't promise to have it in the future.

Finally, everything is back in order here after the latest Re-Ment Fan Club meeting! The meeting was wonderful, as always, and everyone looked like they were having a great time. Congratulations to Grace Legaspi who was the winner of the much-coveted purple refrigerator with her competition entry, Yummy Stand!
One new set arrived this week, Hotel Buffet! It's a great set of fancy food and wonderful serving pieces that will be an excellent addition to your dioramas or just plain fun to have :).

The rules and guidelines are below:
24/7 Competition. This is for fun and for prizes! This is the ultimate Re-Ment Competition to win the ultra-rare Re-Ment Purple Refrigerator.
The Theme for the competition will be announced on Sunday, November 1st at 12 noon. This will give you 24 hours per day for 7 days to work on your entry. Entries can be submitted in person and brought to the Re-Ment Fan Club meeting by people who are RSVP’d to attend or you can submit your entry via e-mail and submit up to three photos.
This is not a photography contest, this is a Re-Ment Display contest so your photos should show how your display meets our theme. Send your photos to robinfgee@yahoo.com by the deadline of 9 a.m., Los Angeles time, on Sunday, November 8th (sorry, you get a few less hours since I have to print them out and get to the meeting). They will be projected on a screen for judging and/or printed out. You can submit a brief, up to 300 words pitch for your display to be read aloud to the judges. If you are submitting your display in person, it must be set-up and final and not touched by 2 p.m. at the meeting.
There is no residency requirement so you can be anywhere in the world to be a part of this competition. I will mail you your prize if you win.
You can use dolls, props, items from other companies, whatever you wish to showcase our theme. But, you will be judged on best use of Re-Ment since that is the main judging criteria.
To enter on-line with photos, please put “24/7 Competition Entry” in your subject line. Please send all 3 photos in one e-mail. Please send your pitch at the same time with your photos. Also, please enter during the contest entry time period between the time the theme is announced and the deadline. Please include your name with the entry.
One entry per person please. If you e-mail multiple entries, we will use your first entry for the contest.

There are new things coming in the next two months, including Gyu Gyu Pet, Grandma's European Dinners, and more. At the moment, I'm still gathering information on when they'll arrive and how much they'll cost. As you probably have heard, Re-Ment US has closed and new distributors are getting geared up. As soon as we all get the pipeline flowing again, things will get back to normal on timing and pricing, I hope!
This week is the National Barbie Convention in Washington, D.C. I'll be there from Tuesday through Saturday, then back home on Sunday. Please feel free to send in your orders while I'm gone and I'll fill them as soon as I'm back. Then I'm staying home for a while :).

Happy Mother's Day, everyone! I hope you're having a lovely, relaxing day.
It's been crazy around here for the last two weeks. First, getting ready for the Re-Ment Fan Club meeting that was held on May 3rd, then going to the Fan Club meeting, then recovering from it! Finally, I've had a chance to get my sales list up to date, so what's in stock should be accurate for at least a few minutes :). I'll be putting up pictures from the meeting soon, so please keep an eye on the Fan Club link.
Uttori Sweets came in and nearly sold out with pre-orders and Fan Club shoppers. I'm expecting more in about a week, so please let me know if you'd like to me to hold a set for you. They are wonderfully detailed desserts with lots of rose accents. I love roses, so this set is already a favorite of mine.
Coming soon (hopefully today!) is an Odds & Ends page. I recently bought a collection that had some very cool old sets, but only a few of each. Be sure to check it out once it's up -- I'll leave a message here when it's ready.
There are some adjustments in shipping costs with US postal rates going up tomorrow. I've done my best to keep the changes minimal.

Even bigger news!! Pierre Hermé 2 just arrived!! They are wonderful and I know you'll love them! If you've pre-ordered, I'll be in touch tomorrow. There are a couple of extra fun things about this set. First, they come with the display accessories in the pictures, like the three level stand shown with #2. Second, they aren't blind boxed! Each set comes in a different colored box decorated with pictures of the set that's inside--no surprises, but no disappointments, either!

Pierre Hermé 2 is on its way! I'm hoping to have it in stock within two weeks. A full box will contain ten sets, which will be two identical sets of five. I'll be selling them as full boxes, sets of five, and individual small boxes. I'm expecting that a set of five will ship anywhere in the US for $5.95 :).

Finest Sushi is here! Everyone who pre-ordered should have received an email from me--If I missed you for some reason, please get in touch right away. As promised, this set is super-sized! I'm going to take photos and post them so you can see the difference in scale of this sushi set compared with Conveyor Belt Sushi and Re-Ment's first sushi set. It looks a little big for a 12" doll, but would work great with a 16" doll or in a table display. The detail is great and the sushi fit on little pegs so that they won't go flying when you move them around.
Pierre Hermé 2 news! This wonderful set is due to be delivered in Asia next week and will be here in two to three weeks. I can hardly wait! From what I can gather, the full box contains two sets of five small boxes. As soon as they get here, I'll let you know the exact details. As always, I'll be opening the small boxes and identifying them so that you can buy exactly what you want.

There's a new section to this website called Secret Sets! It's a work in progress and is based on my personal collection of secret sets, so I'll be adding to it over time. All of the photos will enlarge so you can see things up close. I hope you enjoy it! And, if you have any information to add or correct, please let me know :).

What a fun weekend!! We just had the Re-Ment Fan Club meeting here in Los Angeles and it was a blast! With attendees from as far away as Washington state and Chicago, it was a very enthusiastic group of fans. Thank you to Robin Gee for planning another amazing event! And an extra special thank you to Ellen Ansok for the fabulous birthday cake she made for me - it was a full size version of the Minnie Mouse cake in set #4 and super delicious! I'll be posting photos soon, so stay tuned....
Newly arrived this week are the Mickey and Minnie Mouse Café Table & Chairs and the Lilo and Stitch Café Table & Chairs. Exclusive to Japan, these are adorable and look wonderful with their coordinating food sets. If you've placed a pre-order, your set is reserved and I'll be in touch soon!

Whew! I'm swamped! Thanks for your patience - I'm still working on letting everyone know that the new sets are in. If you haven't heard from me, please don't hesitate to get in touch. They're here! I'm busy opening boxes of French Restaurant (aka Luxury French) and Cats 2 so that I can fill all of your pre-orders. Stay tuned for emails today if you pre-ordered and feel free to let me know if there's something else you want.
Both of these sets are wonderful! The cats look very realistic, especially their eyes. And the French meals are to die for--so detailed, so perfect. The first one I opened was the escargots course (#2) and I was thrilled to see the little snail shells and absolutely perfect basket of French bread. This one is a keeper!

This morning I took photos of the color variations and have posted them on the enlargement page for this set. The Princess Tea Set has been really popular - I hope you've had a chance to look it over. I'm hoping to have the Minnie Mouse Tea set in stock soon, so your dolls won't have to worry about getting thirsty :).
French Restaurant is now expected to arrive before the end of the month and I'm guessing the Cats set will be here next month. Still no word on Pierre Hermé 2, but I'm working on it!

Wow--lots of updates today! I've found a limited number of the long-discontinued Pub Meals set and have a few other sets on sale. In Coming Soon you'll see some great new sets that are due in the next two months--French Restaurant and Cats 2, to mention two of them. There's also a new Pierre Hermé pastry set on the horizon! Finally, Robin Gee has announced the next meeting of the Re-Ment Fan Club on November 9th here in Los Angeles. What a week this has been! Lots of "new" old things are back in stock - Favorite Stationery, Pop'n Kitchen, Cooking with Mama, Dachs Coffee Shop, Black Cat Italian Restaurant, and the White Bear Ice Cream Shop!! These are all terrific sets, with great details and lots of whimsy. Please take a look and let me know if there's anything you'd like me to reserve for you.
Have you heard of T for Candy? They make Chinese minis and have just come out with an adorable set of old-fashioned soda bottles, candy, and a chest refrigerator for the sodas. Be sure to check them out--they would look great in dioramas of vintage scenes.

At the recent National Barbie Doll Collectors Convention in Kansas City, I gave a program on miniatures, featuring Re-Ment (of course!). Several people have asked me to send them the slides, but it's a large file and I haven't been able to email it. Through the miracle of technology :), I have been able to export the file to the web. So, if you'd like to take a look, please click on Minis Program and you can scroll through the slides. The pictures didn't export perfectly, but I hope you enjoy it nonetheless!
